Connie Brennan says she’ll run for Board of Supervisors again

Connie Brennan, of Faber, has announced that she will again run for a seat on the Nelson County Board of Supervisors.

Brennan has served two four-year terms on the board and represents the county’s Central District, which includes Nellysford and Faber.

She is the Democratic Party nominee for the seat in this November’s election.

A retired nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia, she was a member of the Nelson County Child Care Center for more than a decade as well as a member of the Nelson County Rescue Squad. She also served on the Nelson County School

Board prior to becoming a supervisor.

Brennan made an unsuccessful bid in 2007 for the Virginia House of Delegates against Watkins Abbitt, I-Appomattox.
