The Cove Creek sports complex was once again invaded by young baseball players for the sixth annual Jeremy Hill All-Star Baseball Camp.
For the second year, the camp was free to all, with 123 participants.
This year, the camp T-shirt was bright orang. The colors change each year.
The first camp drew more than 40 players, and it has grown each season.
The attendance was down slightly compared to last year, but all who showed up were treated to three days of baseball fun and learning.
The instructors are from Ferrum College, once again led by head coach Darren Hodges.
The camp is held in honor of Jeremy Hill who passed away in 2003 and played on the Ferrum team.
His brother, Jack Hill, the camp coordinator, said: “The camp is to mainly teach the kids.”
