A marvelous success
Since I am not sure who all is on the parade committee of this year’s Nelson County’s “Beary Merry Christmas Parade” committee, I’ll address this to everyone responsible.
Everyone involved deserves so much credit for all their hard work. I am sure that planning for this event takes countless hours of commitment and meetings. I was amazed at the crowd along the parade route, but especially the crowd in the center of the village of Lovingston. In a time when money worries, health care reform and war take center stage, this group of dedicated individuals gave this community one of the greatest Christmas gifts ever.
They provided a special time for children and adults alike when nothing else mattered more than the “Beary Merry Christmas Parade.”
Congratulations on a job very well done.
