Charlie Skalaski, who was Liberty University’s football recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach, has left the Flames coaching staff to join new Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey’s staff.
Skalaski was one of two assistant coaches that new LU coach Turner Gill retained off the previous staff. Marshall Roberts was the other. Skalaski has been at Liberty since 2003, when he worked under Ken Karcher as tight ends coach.
"Charlie Skalaski did an outstanding job of representing Liberty University and its mission while being part of the football program," Gill said. "He will be missed and we hope nothing but the best for he and his family in all their new endeavors."
